Leonida is the fictional US state in which Grand Theft Auto VI takes place — Rockstar's take on Florida, announced alongside Trailer 1 in December 2023 ('the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond, in the sprawling state of Leonida'). The May 2025 site update named its officially confirmed regions: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga. It is the first mainline GTA setting to extend well beyond a single metro area since San Andreas.
