GTA 6 editions
GTA 6 comes in two editions: Standard ($79.99) and Ultimate ($99.99), both released November 19, 2026. Every pre-order of either edition also gets the Vintage Vice City Pack.
Ultimate Edition — what Rockstar says
Officially confirmedRockstar's official description: "an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story". Unusually, the bonuses are framed as woven through the single-player campaign — not the online-mode currency bundles of the GTA V era.
Reported contents
Strong evidencePress coverage of the June 24 announcement itemized the Ultimate Edition as including classic bonus vehicles (a '95 Grotti Cheetah among them), exclusive weapon variants, Vice City-style outfit and cosmetic packs, additional in-story businesses and shops, and exclusive side content. We list the full itemized table here once verified line-by-line against a first-party store listing — the category picture above is consistent across sources; individual item names are still press-reported.
Vintage Vice City Pack (all pre-orders)
Officially confirmedIncluded with every pre-order and any purchase before November 20, regardless of edition — Rockstar describes it as "a collection of items that flash back to when the neon burned brightest", a nod to the original Vice City era.
Is the Ultimate Edition worth $20 more?
The honest answer pre-release: it depends on whether the single-player extras matter to you, because — unlike RDR2's Ultimate Edition, which leaned heavily on online bonuses — GTA 6's premium tier is pitched at the story campaign itself. Extra vehicles, shops and side content threaded through an experience Rockstar itself calls single-player is a different value proposition than a currency bundle. We'll re-assess once the full contents are store-verified and, post-launch, once it's clear how substantial the exclusive side content actually is.
Frequently asked questions
- What's the difference between GTA 6 standard and ultimate?
- The $99.99 Ultimate Edition adds an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and story-threaded content on top of the $79.99 standard edition. Both include the base game and, if pre-ordered, the Vintage Vice City Pack.
- Is there a GTA 6 Collector's Edition?
- No physical collector's edition has been announced. The two announced editions are Standard and Ultimate; the physical version of either ships with a download code, not a disc.
- Can you upgrade from standard to ultimate later?
- Rockstar hasn't detailed an upgrade path. First-party stores typically offer edition upgrades for digital purchases; we'll document the exact mechanics once listed.
