Is GTA 6 coming to PC?

GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. A PC version has not been announced — but Rockstar has ported every major release to PC eventually.

Officially confirmed Platform list per Rockstar's announcement — unchanged since December 2023.

What Rockstar's history says

Rockstar's modern pattern is consistent: console first, PC later. GTA V hit PC 18 months after its September 2013 console launch. Red Dead Redemption 2 took 13 months (October 2018 → November 2019). GTA IV's gap was about 7 months. Applying that pattern to a November 2026 console launch puts a plausible PC window in late 2027 to mid-2028 — a projection from history, not an announcement, and we label it as such. Take-Two executives have repeatedly described PC as an increasingly important platform for the company, which cuts toward a port happening; nothing credible points to day-one PC.

Frequently asked questions

Will GTA 6 be on PC at launch?
No. The November 19, 2026 launch is PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. No PC version has been announced.
When will GTA 6 come to PC?
Unannounced. Rockstar's previous gaps — 18 months for GTA V, 13 for RDR2 — suggest a window between late 2027 and mid-2028 if the pattern holds. Treat any specific date circulating online as fabricated until Rockstar announces one.
Will GTA 6 be on Steam?
When a PC version arrives, Rockstar's recent practice (GTA V, RDR2) has been to launch on the Rockstar Games Launcher and Epic/Steam, with Steam availability at or shortly after PC launch. Unconfirmed for GTA 6.
